Nik is a climate and water risk specialist turning complex climate data into actionable solutions. From pioneering physical climate risk assessments to designing adaptation strategies, and ensuring information is decision-grade and actionable. His prior venture, Four Twenty Seven, led to a successful exit (now Moody’s), where he led product development and research, including the California Heat Assessment Tool (CHAT), which continues to help cities across the state prepare for extreme heat. Chris is an accomplished program manager with more than 30 years of international development experience leading large, complex programs by building consensus among a diverse set of stakeholders at public institutions at national and local levels, civil society, and private sector organizations and delivering results on time and on budget. In the climate finance space, Chris has deep experience with a range of climate finance mechanisms and approaches, including grants, concessional loans, blended finance and market rate investment.
